Yesterday afternoon we went to fetch Louis. This time the little guy was very excited to see us! I never even thought he could tell different people apart. ;) It is good to know he might love us as much as we love him!

As you can see from the pic, he has an enormous monster where his leg used to be! He has learned to move by dragging himself across the floor, occasionally hissing at it. Poor thing is still getting used to it. Below the bandages he has a splint securing his stretched out leg, possibliy also the pin that was put in. very ouchie.

He is getting anti-inflammatory meds daily, pain med 3x a day and anti-biotics twice. Sleepy most of the ti,e but very bored. Physical discomfort aside we are very happy to have him home, but the road is still long to his full recovery.
