Hey guys! So we're very nearly to the goal. We have found a lawyer and Brandon is making the first payment installment today, so that he can get to work. We've gotten a few questions, so I'm going to answer the most common ones here.

1. Any amount of this fundraiser not used for legal fees or travel fees will be donated to a local domestic violence shelter. Because we are attempting to keep our location a secret from his accuser, if you'd like the name of the shelter feel free to contact him or me.

2. If you have any questions about the specifics feel free to contact him or me. We are being fairly vague, and we both know this, but we are being vague on purpose for several reasons.

And finally-
We both cannot thank you enough for this. Neither of us like asking for help, but it was needed, and this really has proven what a community of love we have. This is what friends are. This is what a community is, and we will never be able to thank those who have shared, donated, or just offered support enough. It makes what is a really difficult time into something much less terrible. Thank you.
