Suraj who is 4 years old now has been struggling with Congenital Neutropenia, which is a type of Immune deficiency and also has been having low Haemoglobin and Platelet counts consistently. He is at a risk of life threatening infections and Suraj has had various serious infections from one month after his birth till now, which have led to more than 15 surgeries. He is also having bleeding issues frequently due to his low platelet count.

Currently he is on continuous antibiotics to protect him from infections, G-CSF injection every day to increase his WBC and is being transfused almost every week to keep his Haemoglobin and Platelet count up. The curative treatment for this would be bone marrow transplant. The approximate cost for this would be $50000. We have tried our best to save him. But unable to meet the cost of transplantation as we have exhausted with all we had for his treatment till now.

Suraj is our only son and hasn’t had a normal life as any other kid. He has spent most of his time in the hospital till now. We wish he could play, go to school and lead a normal life as any other kid.
