1:26 PM 1/17 - The surgery team at Blue Pearl decided they felt comfortable in doing an exploratory chest surgery in suspect that its a ruptured bullous cyst (for more information about those your welcome to check this website out - http://www.saintfrancis.org/wp-content/uploads/Bul...).They went in and found that is was indeed a ruptured cyst and had to remove a small part of his lung. He's currently in recovery with ideally the expectation to come home on Thursday. Cost estimate in the 6.5k - 8k range but they can't give us a firm number. We did have to give 4k in order for him to get the surgery and have to pay the rest at the time of pick up.
