We Are Incomplete Without The Spirit Of God

We Are Incomplete Without The Spirit Of God:

Solomon was a powerful king. He had power of life and death over his people. He had wisdom above all given by God not by human. In 1 Kings 10:6-7, The queen of Sheba said "What I heard in my country about you and your wisdom is true, but I didn't hear even half of it. Your wisdom and possessions are much greater than what I was told" The queen saw his wisdom and possessions all around his department when she visited Solomon. Solomon had political and intellectual power. During his reign, gold and silver was very common in Jerusalem. Probably there will be no king as powerful, rich and full of wisdom more than Solomon amongst us till the end of our world.

Solomon had the three powerful weapon Satan uses to destroy people that is Power, Possessions and Pleasure. No human on earth will ever deny pleasure. Everyone want to enjoy pleasure in their lives but none of us can enjoy as much as Solomon did. With pleasure, he had 700 wives and 300 concubines. It would take him about 3 years to go round if he wanted to sleep with them all. When Solomon was born God gave him the name Jedidiah meaning the The Beloved Of God (2 Samuel 12:25). God appeared to him at Gibeon when he went to offer sacrifices to the Lord. God granted him his request and gave him what he wanted that is WISDOM. His wives turn his heart to other gods and Solomon was no longer obeying God. Although God had appeared to him and warn him not to worship any other God other than Him (Elohim) but he did not obeyed. His father David also warn him but he refused to listen.

In Ecc 17:15, Solomon said "My life had been useless ...." This is the words from a man who lived a life of regrets. See (Ecc 2:17). The problem with Solomon was not because he didn't hear the advice he received but because he was incomplete just as everybody of the human race. Solomon didn't demand power or possessions from God but he had much greater of it than we can imagine. Most of us will regard Solomon as a successful man. His house was filled with possessions and people. His mind was filled with wisdom and his heart was filled with pleasure so there was no place for the one he needed most "The Spirit Of God" who can make him COMPLETE. People who live life without the spirit of God doesn't end well. Power, possessions and pleasure are used by the devil to deceive people and most of us cannot resist the attempt of the devil with these powerful weapons. Most of us think it is by legitimate and by all means fair or foul should one possess all these three. This is a man of experience who had it all, everything he needed and wished for but life was regrettable for him. Let's open our eyes and receive the spirit of God first above everything for a better and comfortable life without regrets. God bless you all.
