Chris and Ruth want to extend a huge THANK YOU to all the wonderful people who have responded to this campaign to help Chantha pay for her cancer treatment. We are humbled by the response the campaign has received.

We took a print-out of all of the messages from supporters to Chantha last Wednesday and she was overwhelmed by the kindness being shown to her. She said she would keep the document with her and read it when she feels a bit sad and needs something to help her smile. We will keep checking for comments from her supporters and will print them out and send all of them on to her.

However, since Chantha's first trip to hospital, we have discovered that each dose of chemotherapy, which is administered over 3 days, costs more than US$3000. Then there are the costs of the x-rays, PET scans, hospital room, other medicines etc. Plus the round trip airfares are about US$350 per person.

It's a huge total figure... but how do you measure the value of life?

As a result, we have now increased the target amount of this campaign to US$10,000.
