I was lucky enough to win a place in the 2016 London Marathon after running the York Marathon in 2014 for Boxer Dog Rescue Northern England. It takes up a lot of my free time training to be able to achieve the distance training in the winter has been particularly hard for me but knowing that I may be able to raise some money for this wonderful charity will keep me motivated to enable me to complete the marathon for this cause.

Training is going well, not long to go now before the big day and yes I'm terrified, this is a huge event and I have trained hard, hope it pays off on the day and all these lovely Boxers get the help they so deserve.
