I couldn't stay away for too long, so stopped off for a couple of days in the new year and the change to the systems is immense! Each area has sectioned off into an efficient unit, and is refining their process.

I was driving the big truck for community food distribution, having moved away from line distribution and perpetuating dependency culture we now supply community leaders to enable people to use food as they prefer. Each group gets a weekly delivery.

We also supply the Ashram kitchen, Alice's Healing Area and the Calais Kitchen at the L'Auberge/Help Refugees warehouse. Each who provide hot meals in the camp daily.

Food parcels are still going out daily to Dunkerque. Individual packs, double packs and family packs like the one shown by the lovely Tina here...
