Update on Target & Costs

RF Mapping At this point the group and lawyer do not feel that RF mapping and a lengthly legal battle will help our case further. Therefore we are removing the RF mapping of $5000 from the estimate and target for the funding site.

Estimated Costs

Stage 1 (to cover expenses between Dec 5 and Dec 15): Attorney charges a) $1000 for initial consultation b) $500 for submitting intervenor application on behalf of the group and c) 295$ per hour for charges to be incurred on Dec 15 and follow up consultation with the group: approximately 10 hours for a total of ~$3000. Total estimated cost for Stage 1: $4500.

Stage 2 (If Stage 1 is successful to support expenses leading to 2nd hearing at New Britain): Attorney charges will be approximately $2000 per hearing (to be confirmed) and RF mapping work of $5000 for viable site.

Total estimated: (Stage 1 + Stage 2): $12000 to $15000.

We are seeking funding from parties other than our residences (i.e. town, developers, site owners, etc) however at this time we need to prepare to shoulder the costs ourselves

If at anytime we decide to halt this campaign or complete the campaign successfully the group will meet and discuss how to allocate/refund balance of the funds.
