12 days after his operation, Sam is progressing really well. he has started to play more and to mouth and we let him have one plastic toy back tonight - he hasn't been allowed any while his jaw is healing. He is squeaking away joyfully with it just now!

He is getting back to his old self, and will come off the pain killers tomorrow. He still isn't allowed off the lead, but tomorrow I'm going to take him for a slightly longer walk on his extendable lead. Still no swimming though!

And we still have a long road ahead - we are waiting for the tests from the tumour to come back to know what form of radiation therapy he will undergo - and we need all the help we can get.
