Last weekend I went to 'Festival in the Forest' with my parents, hoping to raise some money from the project. Instead of giving some money, one of the stall holders made me the most beautiful one-of-a-kind pendant to auction to raise some more money. Inspired by this, the next day I handed out some leaflets to other stall holders explaining what I am doing on July and asking whether they would like to donate a small item towards an auction. I don't think I've ever felt so cheeky in all my life, but I was completely overwhelmed by the response! I think I met some of the kindest and most generous people that weekend, honestly.
