Fundraising needed for the orphaned Mongolian children I have been helping over the last 8 years...

This year will be my eighth year volunteering in Mongolia. My aim has always been to raise awareness of orphaned abandoned children. In more recent years I have been raising money with the Rotary Club of Sovereign Harbour. Together we have been able to successfully sponsor children to attend vocational training to enable them to learn a trade or skill - for example, tailoring, carpentry, welding etc. This is crucial, as it gives them a chance to earn a living and boost their confidence, and assist them to integrate into society when they leave the orphanage. So far we have only been able to help a minority of children; however, I am working hard to raise funds to reach more children.

Any donations will be gratefully received. As an independent, self-funded volunteer, there are no administrative costs, and any money donated will directly benefit the children.
