Disability Direct Nottingham is one of the charities I spent several months volunteering for whilst I was at uni.

They support disabled people, carers, and elderly and vulnerable people to live independently. This means anything from befriending isolated and lonely people to providing support through benefit appeals and tribunals. With cuts to the benefits and welfare system, services like these are invaluable.

Due to a delay in funding, the charity will be forced to close for four months before their next grant comes in. Please help keep this valuable service open during these four months by donating here:
