I set up this campaign with no idea how people would respond to it. Initially I thought I could try and raise a minimum of �400 that would mean �100 for each state currently declared a disaster zone. However I have been so pleased with the success of my first day that I have raised this amount to �700 this converted into local currency is around 1,000,000 Myanmar Kyat and would make a huge difference to the lives of so many. I am keeping everything crossed and am very hopeful that if the campaign keeps up its momentum we can even exceed that target. Many thanks to you all for your support.
