Well my plan was to post a link where anyone can see what i have done recently. I use a app on my phone called "Runtastic Road Bike" It is a great app but my computer savvy self is not sure how to share my profile. That is a letdown. I tried messing with the url but even trying a few different versions of that url got me nothing. I guess they want people to join to see other people’s info. anyyyyyyway. 

My last ride put me over 200 miles (while using the app). My rides to work I don’t turn the app on for. That is 4 miles each way. If I do my big ride after work it would be 4 plus the 28 miles I do on a normal big ride in a day. I bump that up lil by lil so soon my rides will be 30 miles after work :).

One thing that is really hard for me to shake is I have always been one of those people that struggle with life. Not due to being lazy, stupid, or any sort of combo of both. I am fine with working hard. I like working hard. I love to sweat, it is a big reason why office jobs just make me cringe. Maybe one day I will submit to what I consider the monster that is an office job but I can’t see it happening. I’m not a big fan of working for a paycheck either. I go to work, sweat, work hard and the end result is a check for some money to live off of that hopefully will last me until the next one.

That race was the first time I felt like I was somewhere I belonged. 

It may be hard for many people to understand but I also think there are just as many people that get my pain. You want to go far in life. You want to live a good life. One where you work hard to play hard but to live up to my true potential I need passion in my work. Passion will not come from the office monster for people like myself nor will it come from working for a paycheck. People like me need a challenge that I would guess would scare many others away from what we find a passion for.
