Good news on the William Barnes front. He is more alert, awake, speaking a few words - although finding it difficult to convey his needs - and eating and drinking by mouth. He has been moved to a special bed, which prevents him from injuring himself or falling out, as he still has some spasmodic movements and feels pain. He is due to have an MRI scan in the near future. But generally, things are beginning to look somewhat promising. Just one thing, William: you now have a teddy bear in your bed! Thanks to everyone who has donated, more needed to support the family, if you can help.
