Hello All, I wanted to post another update, Oscar is home and doing well. He has decided that while canned dog food isn't his thing that when mixed with water to make a gravy its not so bad. Pills though.. thats a whole nother story. The 7 pills a day he has to take are becoming more and more of a challenge as he finds creative ways to avoid eating them while eating the yummy food. But Momma is persistent and it seems to be paying off. He is gaining weight again and "business" is returning to normal. Hes got another week and a half before his staples come out and we are contemplating keeping him on the soft food for awhile to try and give his stomach a chance to fully heal.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the surgery possible and inspired the vet to do so despite our lack of funds. We couldn't have done it without your show of support.
