You fulfilled the $2,000 goal in record time!  There are no words to express my gratitude and love for all of you - old friends who went to bat for me once again, and new friends who helped a stranger in need.  

Back when I was working and had money, I funded a number of projects through donorschoose.org.  I never realized that karma (or "carma," get it?) would reward me in spades.  There's a balance in the universe that cannot be denied and this is but a small glimpse into its workings.

And now...on to find a car!  I go to see THIS car today.  It has "Susan" written all over it in twelve foot high, orange letters:
