Successful Surgery

Update posted by littlRED

Red came out of surgery earlier this afternoon. The vet informed me that things where not as "terrible" as the previously thought. Turns out, one of the uterers came into the bladder at the right spot, but was closed off to the bladder. It had an extension off of it where the urin was coming outside of the bladder. So instead of having to cut, size and place the ureter into the correct spot (as they thought) they only had to open it into the bladder and then cut and seal off the extension. This increases her chance of a successful surgery and healing process. I am glad that we were able to do this surgery.

Sometimes things are not as bad as they first appear and you never know unless you take the chance. I am very thankful for those of you who helped out with funding this surgery. I thought it was hopeless when we heard the cost but because I took a chance on the good will of others, I was proven wrong. Just like the ultrasound results were proven to not be as terrible as they first appeard. Thanks again!
