I was going by bicycle to COP27, because I wished to address the political leaders of the world, especially of the Global North, finally taking action. We must stopp the climate change! We must do all vi are able to for it. It will be uncomfortable for people, who have a lot of money and are used to pollute. I did my share and I will continue with it. I was riding my bicycle solo for over 8,200 km during 4 month and 5 days (including restdays though). I was riding my bicycle in up to +38°C, I was riding it in thunderstorms, on rainy days, on windy and stormy days and also days, when I felt cold. I was riding it on flats, uphills and downhills. Sometimes the hills were so steep uphill, that I had to push it, which isn't easy at all with my panniers and bags, downhills I sometimes was scared, wondering if my breaks will work all the way down. I rode on gravelroads, small paths, singel tracks and highways as well as in remote places and bustling cities. My bicycle, Miss Piggy, was working well all the time, but the break back. To find skilled bike mechaniks was not easy, though.

I crossed 17 countries, a lot with languages I neither could and can understand nor read their letters. I hade to fight stray dogs, which I sometimes couldn't without help. Every evening I had to spent time to find accommodation. I posted on Instagram, Facebook and sometimes Twitter. I also tried to write my blog. I was and am concerned about my economy and even the freedom of speech in a couple of countries. In addition to that, I felt lonely often. Anyway, I made it to COP27 and I am sure, when we all do it together, from the top to the basic, we can stopp the climate change, can have climate justice and give our children, grandchildren and future generations a bright future.

I didn't overcome all this challenges alone. Half of the time I found people, who hosted me or paid hotel nights for me. I have got many followers on social media. They encouraged me to continue and not to give up. I met people on my way, who applauded me. I met friends everywhere, many of them I haven't known before. I have got help, when I couldn't manage the very steeps. I have got help against the stray dogs. Last but not least there are journalists and photografers, who help me to get my message heard as well as a president and a minister with its staff.

It has been an amazing journey with an amazing experience all the way and I am sure, my way home will be amazing, too.

I voice has been heard at COP27. Not only the president of Egypt was interested in me, but also lots of journalists. I talked with newspapers and was on the TV. Though they earned money by me, but I didn't get anything as it may be usual.

I start on my way home tomorrow (19th Nov 2022). It will almost take 4 month again, but I think by the shorter days, I will need more. Even I hope for free hosting, I will have expenses and I already stretched my economy. Crossing the Middle East has been expensive. That is, why I am asking for a little help.
