Become a language angel for a Thai kid!

An average Thai kid grows up without learning proper English in school. This means that once they are ready to work, they don’t have access to the tourist industry or any other large field of business in Thailand. They won’t be able to do any business with English-speaking countries. They won’t ever be able to read on the internet what you and I are able to read. All these doors are closed when you don’t have access to English.

While the cost to make sure a child gets a basic level in English is so little: it takes 100 dollar to teach a child English for one year, and a 1000 dollar to enable a child to go from no English skills at all, to the level necessary to apply for a job at, for example, a hotel.

At Paradasorn school we would like to do this by inviting volunteer native speakers to our Thai school. They teach the children from three to fourteen years old to make sure they practice and get the confidence to make it in the working field.

All we need is the financial support to make sure these volunteers are coming: we need to give the volunteers a place to sleep and transport to the school.
