  1. Hi! I am your little warrior, my name is Kobe Gabriel Sibucao, they call me “Incredible Gabgab”. I am 1 year and 2 months old. I was diagnosed with this rare disease of the liver, Biliary Atresia, let me tell you a short background about my disease,

Biliary atresia is a rare disease of the liver and bile ducts that occurs in infants. Symptoms of the disease appear or develop about two to eight weeks after birth.Cells within the liver produce liquid called bile. Bile helps to digest fat. It also carries waste products from the liver to the intestines for removal from the body. This network of channels and ducts is called the biliary system. When the biliary system is working the way it should, it lets the bile drain from the liver into the intestines. When a baby has biliary atresia, bile flow from the liver to the gallbladder is blocked. This causes the bile to be trapped inside the liver, quickly causing damage and scarring of the liver cells (cirrhosis), and eventually liver failure.

Symptoms of Biliary Atresia Includes:

Jaundice (yellow discoloration of the eyes and skin)

Pale colored chalky stools

Dark colored urine

I experienced all of these symptoms. But luckily when I was 2 months old I undergo a life saving operation to somehow correct my disease, it is called Kasai Surgery. But after my operation it took time for it to be effective and my growth did not go well with it. Even with better laboratories, I am still severely underweight. To cut my story short, my doctor at St Lukes Medical Center advised us to proceed with the liver transplant so I can grow normally. We are a bit saddened about this news, but it will open a new door, a door of hope and full of life!

It is not easy as we we need to do several work ups to make sure that the liver of the donor (My Daddy) is fit for me.

Friends, Family: We are knocking at your generous hearts to please help and support my parents raise a fund for me.

We need a little help from heroes all over the world to support all the expenses so I can live. Big or small it will surely help a lot. We are praying that we can proceed with the transplant on January 2022.

We also ask you to help pray for the success of the operation. May God send his angels carrying tons of miracles for our little warrior. 🙏🏻

Thank you for taking a little of your time to read my story. God bless you in so many ways!
