Campaign Story
Angelica Ventura, a hardworking and loving sister and cousin, is currently fighting for her life from Septic Shock.
Septic shock is a medical condition caused by severe infection and sepsis, though the microbe may be systemic or localized to a specific site. It can result in multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (previously known as multiple organ failure) and death.
On June 20 2023, Angelica was diagnosed with appendicitis and had an operation for the removal of her appendix, during her operation, the doctors subsequently found that she also had ruptured ovarian cysts, thus the need for the removal of both her right overy and right fallopian tube.
The infection from her appendicitis had spread which resulted to Septic Shock. She is currently in the Intensive Care Unit, having been intubated due to difficulty in breathing and is still treated with different Intravenous medicines to ease her pains.
We kindly request your prayers and/or financial support. Her previous operation has left us financially depleted and any contribution would be greatly appreciated for our financial needs. In order to pay for her medication, additional medical expenses, and professional fees, we need to raise at least Php 1,000,000.
