Be Emma’s Hero Round 2

It has been a while when I introduced you to one of the most selfless and loving person I know, my mom, EMMA ADEVOSO. She has been our rock and the glue that binds us together. She has fought numerous battles for us... especially when my sister was battling with cancer years ago. Although unsuccessful, my mom remained headstrong and inspiring. But now, she is facing another battle for her life. After being recommended for hemodialysis last 7th August 2018 she has ever since showed resilience and patience in the midst of pain and doubt.

When they said that dialysis was costly, I never realised how costly it really is. The recent weeks have showed a glimpse of its reality... with the complications of being a dialysis patient, which is apparently the new norm - mini stroke and low red blood cells to name a few, it makes the whole ordeal more challenging... and draining. And being the sole income earner of the family, this is my everyday challenge... that sometimes gets really overwhelming that I find myself staring at the horizon grasping for any sense of how we will be able to sustain this, on how we will be able to go through it. But I can't give up... she is fighting with all her might... we should do too.

Thus, we are asking for your continued support by being her hero in the second round of her battle, more intense. She will be needing further tests, scans, procedures (including angioplasty). Any amount will be greatly appreciated. With your contributions, you will allow her see her beloved grandson grow, maybe see me get married and see her other grandchildren... and celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in a few years' time. Please help us giver her more time to enjoy life. She deserves it very much.
