Campaign Story
Gladish - our dear source of sunshine and happiness in a life that is always in need of more light and laughter. Most people around her and have been fortunate enough to get to know her describe her as a chatterbox full of fascinating trivia and a very great sense of humor. A person full of life and a zest to live her life to the fullest. All her life, she lives for her family and loved ones. She's the breadwinner for her family, putting food on the table and sending her siblings to school. She never complained nor flinched over responsibilities that a lot of people would think twice about. That's the kind of person she is. A good person that we should try to emulate.
That is why it is quite a tragedy that she's undergoing more than her fair share of trials. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer of the esophagus. She can no longer eat solid food and on a pure liquid diet. On top of that, she recently had another surgery to remove cysts in her ovaries which the doctors cannot confirm yet as malignant. She has lost a lot of weight that she needs to regain in order to continue with her chemotherapy.
She needs our help. We need her to be able to focus on her recovery. She cannot do so with the piling medical bills that she worries about constantly which is more than a struggle for her and her family.
We implore and ask for your help in whatever small ways you are able to provide. We want to be her source of sunshine and happiness in this trying time. We still want to see her smile and hear her laugh and talk about everything under the sun.
