BAYANIHAN Farm – a farm for farmless farmers in Palawan Philippines

Greetings everyone. I'm Emmanuelle Agas, Founder of Agri-nihan from Puerto Princesa City Palawan. I'm appealing to everyone one of you to help us build Bayanihan Farm - a farm for farmless farmers in Palawan. Together we can improve agriculture sector in the country.

PROJECT BACKGROUND

Before Philippines was leading in Agriculture in Southeast Asia. In fact, neighboring countries send their people here in the country to learn about agriculture. Sad to say, today Philippines was left behind when regards to farming. Farmers in the country was one of the poorest sector.

This made me to came up with idea of helping our local farmers improve their lives through providing information that could be useful for them. AGRI-NIHAN was created to help. Agri-nihan means Bayanihan sa Agrikultura. Bayanihan is a Filipino best culture - Working and helping one another. We promote this culture among Filipinos to help improve agriculture sector in the country. As of today, we are providing information through social media like Facebook Page "AGRINIHAN" and YouTube channel "AGRI-NIHAN" for videos about farming tips, solutions and ideas.

We are planning to put up a farm called BAYANIHAN FARM - a farm for farmless farmers in Palawan, Philippines. This farm will serve as a model farm wherein we will develop it into a productive sustainable organic farm, farm tourism and learning site as well. Primarily the objective of this project is to provide a land for farmless farmers and earn what they deserve. Secondly, this serve as a model farm that can be copied for replication. Members of this farm will be organized as an Association of farmers.

We, in AGRINIHAN, will help them in farm development, management and most specifically in marketing.

All of our learnings in trainings, seminars, farm visit, best practices from other farmers and experiences will be showcase in this Bayanihan Farm Project. As soom as funds is already available we will purchase a farm lot and start developing it.

We are appealing to you to help us build this Bayanihan Farm for farmless farmers in the Philippines. This will really help our poor farmers improve their lives.
