Project Kindness For Baby Yael

Baby Yael was born on 30 July 2020 weighing just 650grams. Yael was born at only 26 weeks, and over 3 months premature. Her mother, Karla was rushed to the hospital to give birth and fortunately, Karla is in good health and has been discharged to the hospital 2 days after she gave birth.

Baby Yael is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Latifa Hospital, Dubai UAE in an incubator, receiving breast milk through a feeding tube, and is breathing with the help of a ventilator - CMV mode (IV fluids, Insulin, blood transfusions, UV light therapy to reduce jaundice and under the watchful eye of the amazing nursing staff 24 hours a day as they continue to monitor her and hope for the best.

Baby Yael is a real fighter – like his parents! – and the doctors have given him a good prognosis as he continues to gain weight and showing good signs every single day.

Unfortunately, Yael's hospital bills are becoming enormous reaching AED 200,000 to date and continuing to climb. Karla's medical insurance was all consumed as well and due to Yael's early arrival and complications, Karla and JP can use all the help they can get to cover the hospital bills.

The purpose of this is to provide financial assistance for Yael's hospital treatment. Every little bit counts.

Karla and JP's family and friends in the UAE and in the Philippines are doing the best they can to raise funds to help.
