Baby Mikko’s Operation

Hi Everyone,

This 1 year old little angel is my nephew Amadeus Mikhael Piala, Baby Mikko for short. He is born with Bilateral Grade 5 Vesicoureteral Reflux (VUR). It is the worst case of VUR wherein urine dwelling in the bladder flows back into the ureters and into the kidneys. He has frequent high fever and infections that lead to UTI and has always been admitted to the hospital since he was still 4months old. He also has an ongoing monthly preventive therapy and laboratory tests such as creatine, urine test/urine culture at Chonghua Hospital Cebu City. Baby Mikko's doctor advised that there's no other way to normalize his condition but to undergo surgery or else the recurrent UTI and infections would damage his kidneys.

In connection to this, we are knocking at your kind hearts to please help us to accumulate the needed amount to proceed with the surgery of baby Mikko. The operation alone costs around PHP 200,000 not including hospital expense,1-2 weeks stay at the hospital,doctors fee and other hospital expenses. Anything you can give to Baby Mikko and his family, no matter the amount, is very much appreciated .I'm very positive on how that contributions will make a difference to Baby Mikko's Life and be able to see him grow healthy and strong again.
