Baby Jacob

Hello Everybody,

My wife and myself have been blessed with our first born, baby Jacob born 24th July 2023.

Unfortunately, following a very difficult pregnancy, our little precious one was born with various health complications including Down syndrome, duodenal atresia and AVSD (Atrioventricular Septal Defect).

Due to Duodenal atresia, our Jacob was operated on the following day for a major stomach operation which took about 4hrs. Thanks to the professional team in charge of such a delicate operation at Mater Dei Hospital, so far Jacob seems to be doing well in that respect.

Jacob is awaiting another major operation, this time to rectify AVSD which will be performed at Great Ormond Hospital London departing from Malta on 10th September 2023. This will be another major operation for our little one and we call on you to keep us and the medical team in your daily prayers for a successful outcome. During his stay, which is estimated to last for 3 weeks, Jacob will be accompanied by his parents.

Would appreciate any donations but mostly your genuine prayers for our little one to pull through this very delicate heart surgery.
