Azenith Punzalan-Rivera Recovery Fund

My sister-in-law, Azenith Punzalan-Rivera (Dimple), is in the ICU of Bicol Medical Center-Naga City at the moment. She had undergone Colostomy reversal. It is the kind of surgery wherein the rectum and colon (large intestine) are reconnected after colostomy was performed previously.

In 2018, Azenith was diagnosed with malignant tumor in her intestine which led to stage 3 cancer. In August 2018, she had an emergency surgery that her tumor should be removed due to risk in her life. After removing the tumor her intestine underwent colostomy. Colostomy is a surgical procedure that brings one end of the large intestine out through an opening (stoma) made in the abdominal wall. Stools moving through the intestine drain through the stoma into a bag attached to the abdomen. She carried this bag for 7 months until such time (March 8, 2019) that she and her husband (my brother Jorge) decided to proceed for the next step, bringing back together her intestine (Colon Reversal Surgery).

On March 11, three days after her surgery she was revived for 3 times and has been asleep until today.

Our family is seeking for financial and spiritual support for our sister Azenith aka Dimple since she is a mother of three. She will be needing more years of her life for her children. May God help her by using good hearted people like you.
