Ayúdame a Estudiar en Berklee College of Music

Mi nombre es Esteban Echeverría y soy un joven cantautor costarricense lleno de sueños y ganas de poder educarme y poder encaminar una carrera musical sustentable.

Desde muy pequeño he estado rodeado de música, mis padres me cuentan que la música siempre jugó un papel importante en mi vida hasta el presente. Desde los tres años de edad comencé con clases de Piano y a los cuatro años de edad comencé con clases de canto. He tenido la oportunidad de participar en diferentes festivales de talento y competencias, demostrando así mi potencial, corazón y pasión para la música. Estas oportunidades me ayudaron a crecer tanto musical como profesionalmente, y a comprender la realidad de la industria musical. Estas puertas abiertas me han brindado grandes experiencias y amistades, pero la razón por la cual me comunico con ustedes por este medio es porque la oportunidad más grande de todas ha tocado mi puerta.

A inicios de este año logré audicionar para Berklee y fui aceptado para estudiar un bachillerato a tiempo completo en Otoño en su campus, ubicado en Boston. Necesito cubrir gastos de: hospedaje, admisión, comida, seguro médico, transportación y material universitario por cuatro años. Actualmente me encuentro terminando la escuela secundaria y estoy haciendo todo lo posible para lograr recolectar el dinero necesario. Cualquier aportación será sumamente agradecida, y para mi sería un honor que ustedes formen parte de mi progresar. Pienso que la universidad de Berklee sería muy buena para mí, ya que en ella podré mejorar mis virtudes y destrezas y conocer aún mas sobre el mercado musical y como moverse en el. También conoceré músicos de otras culturas y raíces que me llenarán de nuevas inspiraciones e ideas para innovar. Gracias por leer mi historia.

My name is Esteban Echeverría and I am a young Costa Rican singer-songwriter full of dreams and desire to be able to educate myself and be able to direct a sustainable musical career.

Since I was very little I have been surrounded by music, my parents tell me that music always played an important role in my life up to the present. From the age of three I started with piano lessons and at the age of four I started with singing lessons. I had the opportunity to participate in different talent festivals and competitions, thus demonstrating my potential, heart and passion for music. These opportunities will help me grow both musically and professionally, and understand the reality of the music industry. These open doors have brought me great experiences and friendships, but the reason I am communicating with you here is because the greatest opportunity of all has knocked on my door.

Earlier this year, I auditioned for Berklee and was accepted to study a full-time high school in the fall at their campus, located in Boston. I need to cover expenses of: lodging, admission, food, medical insurance, transportation and university material for four years. I am currently finishing high school and doing everything I can to raise the necessary money. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated, and for me it would be an honor that you are part of my progress. I think that the University of Berklee would be very good for me, since in it I could improve my virtues and skills and learn even more about the music market and how to move in it. I will also meet musicians from other cultures and roots that will fill me with new inspirations and ideas to innovate. Thanks for reading my history.
