Urgent Appeal: Restoring Hope for Aya’s Family in Gaza

Hello dear friends and compassionate strangers, I am Aya, a soul from Gaza and currently living outside of it, reaching out to you with a plea for my family's survival.

Once, life was simple and beautiful in Gaza, surrounded by the warmth of my family, siblings, mother, and father. Laughter echoed within the walls of our home.

Today, I share with you the harsh reality my family faces. They escaped their home in Gaza almost three months ago, enduring the horrors of bombings, fire, and unimaginable destruction. Now, they sleep in a place in Rafah city that is both dire and inhumane after the ruins of their home.

My parents toiled tirelessly to craft a dignified life for us.. they all nurtured dreams. Ehab, my brother, a civil engineer, Doaa, my sister, studied journalism, and Mohammed, my younger brother, poised to complete his high school studies this year, aspiring to delve into the world of programming. Yet, the ravages of war have thwarted his educational journey in Gaza, a place that has become inhospitable for living and stability.

Two years ago, I left Gaza, and since then, my first child, Jimmy, hasn't had the chance to meet his grandparents, uncles, aunts, and extended family.. my family has lost everything, and all I have left is a plea for help to reunite Jimmy with his extended family.

Escape from Gaza demands a staggering $8,000- 11000$ per person, a sum dictated by Egyptian authorities to permit passage to Egypt. We aren’t asking for luxuries, only a chance at survival. I humbly implore your assistance, no matter the size of the contribution. Rest assured, your support will be a beacon of hope, rescuing an entire family from the clutches of despair and imminent danger.
