Help us help support the McGrath Foundation as "Together we can make a difference". For your support towards us we will be donating half the funds raised to the McGrath Foundation (CE02575).
We are Australian Floorball sisters who have recently been selected to represent Australia at the 10th Women's World Floorball Championships in Tampere, Finland in December 2015. This will be our 3rd World Floorball Championships having previously represented Australia at the 2011 WFC in Switzerland and 2013 WFC in Czech Republic.
Over the last 5 years whilst being a member of the Australian Floorball team, we have solely funded ourselves to tournaments and training camps across the world and Australia in a bid to wear the green and gold.
With combined costs of our 3rd World Championships campaign approximately $12,000 we are seeking assistance to enable us to once again live our dream of representing Australia in our sport, at what is currently the World's highest level.
The McGrath Foundation is our charity of choice as on the eve of the 2013 WFC our mother, who was due to watch us represent Australia for the first time was diagnosed with breast cancer leaving our campaign and her well earned holiday in disarray. Hours before we were to board our flight to WFC mum received the go ahead to join us on tour however our holiday was to be cut short due to surgery. Two years on, mum has been given the all clear and we are heading to our 3rd World Championships in which we are dedicating to her.
