Auntie Alma’s brain aneurysm battle

My dear auntie Alma Gapuz Sandaga suffered a brain aneurysm and needs a life-saving brain surgery as soon as possible.

She is the kindest and most loving auntie anyone can wish for and it breaks my heart to see her unwell. My siblings and my cousins have all been nurtured by auntie Alma’s motherly care when we were little and she is very special to us.

She has been teaching grade I pupils for more than three decades and her students are witnesses to her passion and dedication towards her profession. She has spent countless hours preparing lesson plans in the past, and during Covid times adapted modified ways of teaching her students.

Last Sunday she suddenly collapsed and was rushed to the hospital. Scans showed a brain aneurysm which needs immediate surgical intervention (clipping or coiling) and would cost hundreds of thousands of pesos.
