Athens X Between Bridges: 2020 Solidarity

Το 2020 Solidarity είναι μία πρωτοβουλία του εικαστικού Wolfgang Tillmans που ξεκίνησε μέσω της πλατφόρμας του, Between Bridges Project, έχοντας ως στόχο να ενισχύσει οικονομικά ανεξάρτητους πολιτιστικούς φορείς που αντιμετωπίζουν δυσκολίες λόγω του COVID-19. Στο κάλεσμά του Tillmans, ανταποκρίθηκαν πάνω από 50 καλλιτέχνες και διαθέτουν από ένα έργο τους σε μη-περιορισμένη έκδοση, για τη στήριξη της καμπάνιας.

Το Between Bridges, αναλαμβάνει να εκτυπώσει τα έργα και να τα διανέμει σε ανεξάρτητους πολιτιστικούς φορείς σε όλο τον κόσμο, για να χρησιμοποιηθούν σαν rewards σε fundraisers/καμπάνιες crowdfunding.

Το 2020 Solidarity συμπεριέλαβε στην πρωτοβουλία του και την Ελλάδα, όπου η τρέχουσα κρίση ενέτεινε την αβεβαιότητα και τη δυσκολία επιβίωσης των ανεξάρτητων χώρων σύγχρονης τέχνης, επαναφέροντας την αναγκαιότητα της συλλογικής δράσης και αλληλεγγύης.

Το Athens X Between Bridges:2020 Solidarity είναι ένα συλλογικό fundraiser από ανεξάρτητους και μη-κερδοσκοπικούς χώρους σύγχρονης τέχνης στην Αθήνα. Στην καμπάνια συμμετέχουν οι 3 137, Akwa Ibom, Enterprise Projects, ΎΛΗ [matter] HYLE, Radio Athènes, State of Concept, Victoria Square Project και Void.

Κάθε ποστερ προσφέρεται σαν ανταπόδοση σε δωρεά 50 ευρώ και έχει μέγεθος A2 (59,4 x 42 cm / 23,4 x 16,5 in). Όλα τα έργα εκτυπώνονται από το Βetween Bridges και διανέμονται διεθνώς.

Μπορείτε να δείτε όλες τις διαθέσιμες αφίσες στο gallery. Στα δεξιά της σελίδας υπάρχουν όλοι οι τίτλοι των έργων όπου και μπορείτε να διαλέξετε ποιό/ά θέλετε!

Το ποσό που θα συγκεντρωθεί από τις δωρεές, θα μοιραστεί ισόποσα στους οργανισμούς που συμμετέχουν στη συλλογική αυτή δράση και τα έργα θα διανεμηθούν μετά το πέρας της καμπάνιας, και αφού οι ταχυδρομικές υπηρεσίες επανέλθουν στην κανονική τους ροή.

Εάν έχετε βάση στην Αθήνα, μπορείτε φυσικά κατόπιν επικοινωνίας να παραλάβετε το έργο από τους συνεργαζόμενους χώρους, κατόπιν επικοινωνίας.Εάν προτιμάτε να παραλάβετε το έργο αφήστε προσωπικό comment στο checkout.

Αthens X Between Bridges:2020 Solidarity

"2020 Solidarity” is a Between Bridges project, initiated by visual artist Wolfgang Tillmans, aimed at helping cultural and music venues, community projects, independent spaces and publications that are existentially threatened by the current crisis. Due to COVID19, independent art spaces face multiple obstacles in their daily operation and working conditions.

In response to Tillmans' & Between Bridges call, more than fifty international artists came together to design an unlimited edition poster each, which will only be available for a limited period of time.

The fundraiser Athens X Between Bridges:2020 Solidarity is a collective effort to support independent and non-profit contemporary art venues in Athens. 3 137, Akwa Ibom, Enterprise Projects, ΎΛΗ [matter] HYLE, Radio Athènes, State of Concept, Victoria Square Project and Void have decided to run a joint fundraiser to support their work & practice.

Each poster is offered as a reward for 50 euros and comes in A2 size (59,4 x 42 cm/23,4 x16,5 in). All posters are printed by Between Bridges and can be distributed internationally. Mail out begins after postal services have returned back to normal.

If you are based in Athens, we encourage you to pick up the work yourself from one of the partner organizations by disclaiming it via a comment at checkout or just register to receive it via post.

The funds raised will be shared equally among the organizations participating in this collective fundraiser and the posters will be distributed after the completion of the campaign.
