Hello guys,

It's your girl Tati Arissa here. For those who aren't familiar, I am a malaysian ex-muslim atheist and a transgender woman. I run Facebook accounts (Tati Arissa and Rugayah Rejab) and melayumurtad (Instagram) sharing content mainly about being ex-muslim. My social media accounts mostly aim to create more awareness about us ex-muslims that aren't usually talked about openly.

Malaysia is a very conservative country with majority of the citizens being muslims, its hard for me to live as myself being a trans woman and a closeted ex-muslim on top of that. Being transgender and leaving islam are both considered offence under shariah law. Due to discrimination towards lgbt community, its very hard to get jobs here for trans women, which is why a whopping 80% of Malaysian trans women resort to sex work (which is also illegal by law).

Therefore, I plan to migrate to Canada for good. I want to seek asylum in hope of a better life. I want a freedom to live life authentically.

However, to do so, I need some help funding the whole process ie Visa, flight ticket and other requirements to fulfill the end goal.
