Introduction:-

Dear Sir & Madam, In recent times Bangladesh is experiencing a severe flood in northern, northeastern, and coastal districts. Due to Heavy Rain and excess water coming from India causes rise in water levels marooned about 10 million people. The waters have inundated and damaged homes, roads, educational institutions, and crop fields in these districts besides River bank erosion continues to affect nearby inhabitants.

Description:-

All four of the country's major basins continue to rise Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced across Bangladesh, particularly in the northern, northeastern, and coastal districts in the last few days.

Water was flowing about 1769cm above danger levels at no less than 23 stations of 13 rivers , according to data compiled by the Flood Forecasting and Warning Centre (FFWC) of Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB).According to the centre, the situation is said to be a flood if the water flows at or up to 1m above the danger level, while it becomes a severe flood if the water flows more than 1m above.

All four of the country's major basins continued to rise due to incessant downpours and the rush of water from upstream, the bulletin says. While the flooding may worsen in the districts such as Kurigram, Jamalpur, Gaibandha, Bogra, Sirajganj and Tangail , the situation may improve in Lalmonirhat, Netrokona, Sunamganj, Sylhet, Habiganj, and Moulvibazar districts by morning today, it adds.

The FFWC usually monitors 93 river stations across Bangladesh. Among those, water levels at 63 river stations rose, while 29 fell, and one remained steady as of yesterday. All the major rivers were rising except the Surma-Kushiyara it said, adding that the

Brahmaputra-Jamuna and Ganges-Padma rivers may continue rising this morning and the Atrai River at Baghabari and the Padma river at Goalondo point may cross danger levels by morning today, according to the forecast.

My Plan:-

I am Fahad Hasan. i am living in Chittagong, Bangladesh.i run a volunteer organization Name “AMAR BANGLA”.Most of the Members of our group are Student from University and College.Recent Flood makes thousands and thousands of people lost their house.Currently, They have no house to live in, They have no food to eat, They have no clothes to wear, They have no bed to sleep in, They have no medication for their treatment. With no media coverage and ongoing problems for the people of I am here to raise awareness as well as money to help them who are in desperate need.we are currently in a plan to building Tin Shade house and at least two week fooding arrangement for 500 families. We have calculated that at least 24000 Bangladeshi taka is required for one Housing requirement and two weeks minimum food. Which is equivalent to 285 us dollar. Hence, for 500 Hundred family it requires as minimum as 1, 42,500 us dollar.
