I "need a little help from my friends" to tide me over until meaningful paying work to support my amazing family returns post corona. My holy wife, Or, and 5 children, girls, Aloyah, Tiferet, and Netaya, and boys Nachman and Gavriel, and I, are grateful to have had a house and yard in Moshav Yoshiviya, in the Western Negev, to hunker down during the lockdowns in, we're adjacent to open rolling wheat fields and citrus groves.
All of you certainly know friends, and you yourselves may have lost loved ones to the coronavirus. We've all had challenges on one level or another. You may be struggling also to make ends meet with paying work halted or shut down. My heart is with you too.
I have been blessed to make a parnasah - livelihood - for my family doing work I love and feel passionate about. For over 10 years I have been running tours of the Holy Land that emerged from wisdom learned, via experiences and connections gained as directors of the Jerusalem Peacemakers and previously, the Abrahamic Reunion NGOs, organizations focused on interfaith cooperation and peacebuilding between Israelis and Palestinians, Jews, Christians, Muslims and Druze- Abraham's Family.
For 9 years I have been managing from Abraham Hostels, the weekly Hebron Dual Narrative Tour, and for one year the weekly Gaza Border Reality Tour. In all my tours and seminars my unique "it takes two wings to fly" approach, has helped tour groups, bloggers and media outlets to gain a deeper understanding of our complex situation in the Holy Land. My last pre-corona shutdown tours were in the second week of March. Now of course, my source of income has completely dried up.
Solidarity and prayers are appreciated, and... If you can, I'm asking for support to help covering my bills- rent, electric and phone bill, kids clothes, car payment. The numerical value of the Hebrew letters Chet and Yud, which spell Hai חי, "life" is the number 18.. . Please consider giving $18 or some multiple of 18, 36, or 180, etc. I have emunah and bitachon, trust and faith, and look forward to this next phase of our human experience on a hopefully healthier planet, and seeking to bring moshiach/world peace a bit closer... Thanks so much.
