Campaign Story
Just in his 30’s, our dear friend, Ariel, is fighting for his life battling severe pneumonia and pulmonary tuberculosis. He is currently intubated and in isolation at the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital in Legazpi City, Philippines, since June 5, 2020.
A good friend and a caring brother and son, he is the sole breadwinner for his family.
He has been on respirator since June 6. Luckily, Covid-19 has been ruled out of his case.
However, his current condition not only stops him from supporting his family, but also puts them in a dire financial situation as his hospital and medical bills continue to mount as he fights for his life. His mother is a housewife without a source of income of her own. His siblings are regular workers with meager incomes.
Ariel’s family is trying its best to fund the mounting daily medical expenses.
There is no way they can pay the medical bills on their own without our help.
As his friends, we saw how he strived to put his siblings’ children to school with his salary as a teacher. Now, it’s him who also needs our help, and we hope that you could extend it for him and his family.
