Any selfless assistance

To our dearest family and friends, papa’s retrograde angioplasty was indeed successful as we could have possibly hoped and prayed for. There is just this little bump in the road. Since yesterday evening, our bill went up to almost half a million, Php 500,000. I must admit, our family was so surprised and a little bit shocked with this bill because before when we were offered this by Papa’s cardio surgeon, we were advised to raise Php 200,000 – 250,000 and that was what we had aimed for but seeing the bill, it almost doubled up. Supposedly the operation was done to teach cebu doctors the new method of angioplasty so the professional fees of the Dr. Tabaloc and Dr. Jiro Ando was waived. Terumo was the medical supplies partner that had offered as well their supplies for the stents, balloons and wires. The stent cost us around 200,000 alone because 2 were put in and the wires was about 100,000 as they were able to use 3. I am not so technically sure with these prices but I believe they are charging us accordingly. We were just not thoroughly advised that it may be this much. Nevertheless, since the outcome was very positive, I could not let this little bump hurt the happiness that we are feeling. This is just money that we need to collate, whats important is papa is now relieved of any chest pains that might again lead to heart attack .
