Campaign Story
Antonio Miguel Monis was rushed to Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Texas, US last August 1, 7:00pm (GMT). The 27-year-old son of our Chief Creative Director, Mr. Jing Monis, was diagnosed with Hemangioblastoma with Juvenile Pilocytic Astrocytoma (JPA).
Hemangioblastomas are a rare type of tumor, made up of blood vessels, which can occur in the spine or brain. Though hemangioblastomas are noncancerous (benign), they can cause serious neurological impairments and complications.
Mr. Jing arrived in Texas on August 3, a day before Anton's operation. As a father, it was devastating for him to see his son going through such pain.
After hours in the operating room, Anton's surgery was successful! The Monis family is forever grateful for the love and continued prayers.
Post-op is another heartbreaking news for the family. Anton needs to do a series of therapy and home medications for nine weeks before he is given the clearance to travel back to the Philippines.
The support for Anton and his family have been great and they are hoping that this is a way for friends, family and others to show their love and support. The family needs to raise funds for the increasing medical bills.
We are genuinely grateful for any help that you could provide to the Monis family.
Sincerely,
Jing Monis Salon

Praying with you and your family at this time. Be strong, Anton. To Evi and Jing, just keep the faith. God is always good. I've lived the truth myself when my husband had a heart attack last year. I will keep you all in my prayers always.
Praying for your healing and paying it forward.
