ANGIOPLASTY PROCEDURE FOR RUIZ ASAP

Hi Everyone!

My dad Ruiz, just got an angiogram last Thursday (September 19, 2019) and the result was far from what we expect. He needs to undergo to a procedure called ANGIOPLASTY ASAP. Angioplasty, also known as balloon angioplasty and percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA), is a minimally invasive, endovascular procedure to widen narrowed or obstructed arteries or veins, typically to treat arterial atherosclerosis. A deflated balloon attached to a catheter (a balloon catheter) is passed over a guide-wire into the narrowed vessel and then inflated to a fixed size. The balloon forces expansion of the blood vessel and the surrounding muscular wall, allowing an improved blood flow. A stent may be inserted at the time of ballooning to ensure the vessel remains open, and the balloon is then deflated and withdrawn.

Our family was informed that his surgery would cost Php 350,000.00 to 500,000.00 pesos or around $7,000 to $10,000. He needs to have his procedure as soon as possible to refrain possible fatal heart problem.

We, his family are able to share other expenses with his hospitalization, but is having difficulty in coming up with the deposit for him to undergo the surgery as soon as possible. Deposit is around Php 180,000.00.

My father has been suffering for a the same heart condition for over 8 years now, he had his first heart attacked happened last 2011, during that time our family were able to shoulder all of the expenses for medication and hospitalization, as time goes by and the heart problem were getting worsen our family can't support anymore.

My dad is still your (56 years old), and by God's will could hope to live on for another 15-20++ years if able to get his surgery as soon as possible. For us, who are closest to him, each day spent with him is precious. He has 4 beautiful daughters and 4 grandchildren.

With all of this on the table, we want to reach out to everyone, but we also do not want to burden anyone by asking for a huge sum of money. Instead, we are appealing to your gentle hearts for a small donation. It is said that great things are accomplished by a series of small things brought together. If a great number of friends, family, and strangers can contribute a small amount to this cause, we can quickly raise the rest of the money needed for his surgery.
