Campaign Story
Hello! We are Extended Cat Productions, a small independent film team. We are in production of our first short film, and we need your help!
What is this film about?
This film is called "Andrew" and it is about a newly out transman who seeks advice from his closest friend, who is struggling with his own masculine identity. The estimated runtime is 15 minutes. It will be shot in Cebu, Philippines.
Why are we making this film?
We, as a team, want to bring more awareness to the LGBT community through Filipino cinema. Film is a beautiful medium for expression, and through this project, we can show the life of a transgender man in a positive light. Unfortunately, in the Philippines, education on queer history is pretty much non-existent. And education on trans folk in general is nearly unheard of. Films can help change this. LGBT media has already made a huge step forward since it's early and controversial beginnings, but it still needs a bit of a push. We hope to be that push.
What does this money go to?
The harsh truth is, films cost money. Our team is small and at this point we cannot fund this project ourselves. We have put together a budget and estimated a total for pre-production, principal photography, and post-production costs. In other words, we believe this funding will cover the whole nine yards. We will make sure we have a happy and comfortable cast and crew that can be properly fed. We will make sure we also have quality equipment for a beautiful film. We will also be using some of the funding to enter the finished film into film festivals. This will help us gain exposure and continue making films.

Firstly, every donation counts and we are extremely grateful for your kind gesture. If you donate to this project, you are helping not only our team, but also a community. Seeing it from the bigger picture, you are the reason this film even gets made. You will help us release a film that puts positivity on the LGBT community. Hi I am raising funds for My Cousin Sahamat Sekh son of Hasmat Sekh from a small village in India . He is just 17 years old & He is a student he belongs to a poor family his father is a cultivation labour. Sahamat wants to continue his study for better life. But he is now suffering from brain tumor.He is now admitted to Tata Hospital in Mumbai . His need Money for operation., Sahamat Sekh. He is a student at XII. He has a father, a mother, He has been fighting Brain tumour. Right Intraventricular sol, and the planned surgery right trans cortical Tumor excision under Neuromonitoring.. He is currently undergoing treatment at Tata Hospital In Mumbai. He has been suffering for more than two months and it has been a tough time for him and his family. Surgery is his only hope at getting better and living a normal life. He needs a Brain surgery urgently.His treatment will cost approximately $3000.. We are unable to pay for the treatment due to Hasmat Sekh father of Sahamat Sekh He is a cultivation labour. He earn 150 Indian rupee Per day which amount spend his family . He is a labour and It is beyond its ability to make so much money. My personal request is that you can ask for help The funds raised will be used towards his: Surgery Hospital Bills Medicines All of us are eagerly awaiting his recovery. Once he gets better, I’m sure he would love to Now..He is a student he is studing class 12 then he wants heigher educated.. Please Pray for his recovery and donate as you like. Hello, I am arif. I need help. I want to make life simple and I want to help my family. We are so poor. In my carrier, my father is poor person. We was just our 779.199 squire foot land for our house and 779.199 for agriculture. We was buy some land, but we have sold our land for my mother for treatment. Because her 2 Kidneys was fail. Finally I lose my mother. In my family we are 3 brothers and one sister. My father is not able to take care our family, my sister need to marriage. my 2 younger brothers need to teach academic knowledge. I trained about freelancing in web design sector.
