Save Amal and her children and evacuating them from Gaza

I'm a mother of two children, Hassan aged 7. and Tala aged 5. I used to be the wife of a wonderful man until October 25th, but now I find myself widowed, caring for my children alone.

We used to live a beautiful, secure life with my husband and children until October 7th, in a lovely apartment building in Gaza City.

On October 16th, the adjacent land to our building was bombed, shattering our windows and injuring my 6-year-old son.

Our apartment became uninhabitable, so my husband asked me to take our children to my parents' house while he stayed behind to try to repair it.

Then on October 25th, we received the devastating news that my husband had been abducted, and later we found out he had died in prison under torture.

From there, our suffering worsened. I woke up to find myself a widow at the age of 29, with two orphaned children aged 7 and 5.

My son misses his father terribly and cries day and night. He's extremely afraid of the sound of shelling. He told me he doesn't want to die yet. He wants to buy a Spider-Man suit first and save the world, then he can die. He covers his head with the blanket when he sleeps because he believes it will protect him from the bombing. My little hero is now afraid to go to the bathroom alone without me by his side.

As for my little princess, she doesn't fully understand the concept of loss yet and keeps asking about her father. She begs me urgently to call him to ask him to buy her candies she hasn't seen in the markets since October 7th.

A few days ago, she woke up from her sleep and told me that she's going to be martyred with me and her brother because her grandmother's house will be bombed. I don't know how my little daughter grew up and started to talk about shelling and death in her dreams. She used to only know about her toys and sweets.

After our home was completely destroyed and my husband was martyred, I was forced to stay at my parents' house. When the situation worsened around us, we fled to Khan Younis.

Our situation in Gaza is extremely difficult, and there is no way out except to travel to Egypt. But with the escalating war and Gaza being besieged from all sides, the Egyptian officials at the crossing demand $5000 for each adult and $2500 for each child to cross into Egyptian territory.

So, my children and I need $10,000 to cross into Egypt. And to start a new life there, I'll need to rent a house and cover the expenses to bear the burdens of life as a single mother of two.

I expect that I'll also need $5000 to cover transportation costs, including travel and temporary accommodation expenses, which further escalates the financial burden. We estimate that we'll need a total of $15,000.

You can help me secure a decent life for my children in a safe and stable environment away from conflicts and wars, giving them the chance to live decently and enjoy their childhood, and compensate them, even if only a little, for the loss of their father by donating to our fundraising campaign.
