Alvin’s Eye Operation

Hello everyone. My name is Alvin and I just recently discovered that I can ask help for people around the world for my current medical need. Just to give an overview of my medical history, I was diagnosed with Rheumatic Heart Disease when I was still a child. Upon growing up, I was not able to do things that everyone is doing with my age level. I started to live my life to the fullest and think that I am okay and don't want my illness go in my way to achieve my highest potential so I lived exactly as a normal person. As time goes by, I started to have my own family and work hard for them however one day, I was rushed to the hospital due to passing out often, total body weakness in which I don't know where it on my body it originated.I felt too much pain. Upon arriving at the hospital, the doctor said I was already suffering for Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA) and was diagnosed with Diabetic Mellitus Type 1 (Insulin Dependent). After that I passed out totally and I was in coma already for about a month. Thankfully I survived that and I was also diagnosed with Mitral Valve Prolapse (MVP) which my doctor told me that it needs to be operated. After that confinement, I was again confined at the hospital after a month due to my increasing and decreasing blood sugar which can not be controlled. After a month again, I was confined with the same reason. As time goes by, I lived a normal life again and don't want anybody to feel sorry for me even though i feel so much pain every single day of my life. With my illnesses, I already accepted the fact that I have them and I need to deal with it for the rest of my life. I started working from home since I can't travel due to my condition and it started to work out fine. When my mother died due to breast cancer, I told myself that nobody in my family will die again due to the fact that we have no money. I feel so depressed during that time however I started to live my life again. I continued working online and everything went to place. Due to financial reasons, I had to stop injecting myself with insulin because it is already costly and we only live day by day with our lives. It was about last year 2016 that totally change our lives. I was already starting to see nothing on my eyes. My vision goes on and off and when I went to the doctor, he said that i already have a diabetic cataract and it needs to be operated as soon as possible because I am a diabetic and the doctor is worried that I might have diabetic retinopathy which may lead to total blindness. I can not undergo a normal surgery given the fact that I have a heart condition and also a big factor is my diabetes in which my blood sugar is not stable. I have to secure a clearance from my cardiologist and endocrinologist however they require me to have some test and many medications to have my vitals normalize for them to allow me to have my eye operated. It requires me to inject insulin 2x a day and have oral medications for my blood sugar and heart disease which is very costly. We can't afford it. It is more than a year now since my diabetic cataract was diagnosed. I can still see some flashes of light and it is my only hope to see again.
