Maria is the fruit of the love between Alina-Emanuela and Mihai. Like any young couple raised in fear of God, they wanted a child. God was merciful to them and Emanuela became pregnant without knowing what to expect. He followed the doctors' advice and did all the pregnancy-specific ultrasounds and analyzes. Following the "double test" analysis, the probability of the fetus to have Down syndrome was very high. Even though they were advised not to bring the child into the world, they remained unwavering in their decision to have Mary. Also during pregnancy, they learned that they may have heart problems. Maria was in a hurry and was born prematurely at 31 weeks. Following the genetic tests 100% Down syndrome was confirmed. Then, at the subsequent controls, the complications from the heart were also proven. At 1 year and 3 months Maria had a heart surgery, suffering from DSV, DSA and pulmonary hypertension. The operation was aimed at correcting pulmonary hypertension, closing the DSV (Ventricular Septal Defect) and DSA sutures (Atrial Septal Defect). Before the operation, starting with the age of 6 months, they started to work with Maria on different physiotherapists, without too many results. Currently Maria is 3 years old and suspected of hip dysplasia. Her parents went to several orthopedic doctors in Iasi, Bucharest, Târgu Mureș. Opinions are different. Some doctors recommend surgery but without the guarantee that the surgery will make Maria walk, others say they do physical therapy and daily massage. Mister. Dr. Jianu Mihai from Bucharest completely excluded the operation and decided that kineto and massage, at the moment, is the best solution. They went on his hand because, of all the doctors, he has the most experience. Orthopedic investigations did not stop here. Follow up a check also with a doctor from Cluj to Mr. Dr. Cosma. Being a heavy operation, Maria's parents would like to know as many opinions as possible. They found a female therapist from the Republic of Moldova who lives in Iasi. Meanwhile, Emanuela gave birth to a healthy little girl, she has 7 months called Anastasia. Mihai, Maria's father, in order to go with her to all therapies, including kineto, had to reduce her work schedule to 4 hours.
