Hey guys! For next year summer, I will be volunteering in Padmanabha Nagar, Bangalore, India from 15 th June 2018 up to 25th July 2018 through AIESEC Global Volunteering program. I'll be volunteering for Project Footprints which serves Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) NO.4, "Quality Education". This project aims to ensure all girls and boys complete free, equitable and quality primary & secondary education leading to relevant and effective learning outcomes. I believe that education is a fundamental right to every child and it is not an opportunity nor is it by privilege a child receives education. A quality education is able to break the poverty stigma and therefore helps to reduce inequalities and to reach gender equality. This project is going to achieve its aim by conducting English Teaching Workshops which is going to be conducted by the Prarthana Education Society with the help of selfless volunteers to help needy students to learn proper English.
My task is to teach these amazing bunch of kids English, computer science, conducting classes on climate change and to get them interactively involved with the lessons apart from showing them my benevolence, magnanimity and sharing my drive in wanting to make an impact. Above all, I am thrilled to experience what these remarkable children have stored for me to learn their ways. I am blessed with a primary, secondary and now tertiary education with the help of my parents' endorsements and I grew up understanding that in an unfair world, we all have the power to influence others. It is up to us, whether we are going to abuse that power to manipulate people or use it to help them.
The goal is to raise $500. Mind you that every donation received will be entirely contributed towards the volunteering program. Your generosity will help me bring a child closer to his dreams. Here's a link for more into on this project https://aiesec.org/opportunity/875379
