Africa Volunteering Fundraiser

HELLO,

Rather than attending festivals this summer, Ashley and I are trying to raise enough funds to go volunteer in Africa. We would like to particpate with either Biosphere (http://biosphere-expeditions.org/namibia) or GoEco (http://www.goeco.org/area/volunteer-in-africa/botswana/wildlife-tracking-and-conservation-park). The purpose of this trip would be to help with wildlife conservation efforts by tracking and monitoring animals such as elephants, cheetahs, and wild african dogs.

I understand that times are tough on everyone right now and that many people will not be able to contribute, but anything that anyone can afford will be greatly appreciated. Every cent that we receive will go to one of the two organizations to pay for the trip. IF, by some miracle there is any extra we will donate it to charity as well.

The total cost of this trip is between $5,000 - $7500, (before airfare).

I am opening this fundraiser page now with the hope that by the time we need to apply (February 2014) we will have sufficient funds to make this trip happen.
