It can help feed a family in need!

You may have already heard it in the news. The entire Luzon area in the Philippines is currently on enhanced community quarantine for a month due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak. The lockdown includes banning mass transportation, closing down malls and shops, cancelling school and work. The people are advised to stay home and strict curfew is implemented to avoid the spread of the virus.

This is a necessary step, but unfortunately, it presented a great problem for families who solely depend on their jobs for income. This includes minimum-wage earners, street vendors, tricycle and jeepney drivers, and other informal workers.

The government is doing what they can, but with 18.5 million poor households, it's a lot to take on and could take time before help reaches small communities. So in our own little way, my husband and I started a small donation drive for the less fortunate in our community.

We´re reaching out to you so we can help as much families as we can during this time. If we come together, we believe a dollar could go a long way towards helping the less fortunate families in our community.
