Action Against Hunger related deaths in Kenya

As at today, at least 20 Hunger related deaths have been reported in Baringo and Turkana Counties of Kenya (https://bit.ly/2UNIkca). The most affected are women, the young and the elderly who most of them have been reduced to "the dead" in waiting. Women have been forced to feed on the carcasses of the likes of donkey and wild berries seeds and roots. Unofficial reports indicate over 100,000 families in the region are in dire need of food, clean drinking water and healthcare or face the lurking ruthless shameless death or severe mulnutrition. My family, friends and I have been skipping at least one meal a day with a view of raising funds to towards feeding the affected families in the two counties. We intend to visit these families in the first week of April 2019 and provide some assistance towards their plight by providing them with Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF), food supplies , nutritional supplements and clean drinking water. We intend to provide these families with supplies that can sustain them for sometime. To this end, we kindly seek monetary support towards this initiative.
